• Blanca's "Real Love" Song Story & Official Music Video

    Tuesday, October 24, 2017

In her recently released video: Blanca - Story Behind The Song "Real Love,Blanca invites us to learn more about her life, emotions and the moments where she encountered God, while writing her new song "Real Love."

    She begins with these words...

"So, the last year or so has been a pretty challenging year, I've gone through, definitely, some valleys. And, a lot of people may know, my mom was sick and she passed away in December. So, there was a lot, kind of, I was having to work through for this new season. So I entered writing a new record, which is a very exciting time, none the less; but, I definitely had a lot on my heart and a lot that I wanted to talk about."

Blanca continues her story by sharing a vignette from one of her writing sessions with a fellow songwriter - Emily.  Check out these videos to hear that account, plus the rest of the song story, and to watch her performance of the song "Real Love":

    And now for the performance:

"In everything that I do. Every song that I write. Every time I step on a stage. Every time I'm trying to be a mother to my son or a good wife to my husband - it's not about me trying to be perfect. But, it's about me accepting this is who I am, who God's made me. And, His love is more than enough, for me. So, this is real love..." - Blanca

John Cooper of Skillet shares a message and then the band performs their new song "Lions":

"We exist for His pleasure. So when you pray and when you ask God to help you, He will be there for you, He will help you. But, not every single time does God give you what you want, because He knows what's best. He knows what pleases Him." - John Cooper, Lead Singer, Skillet

Evident throughout the night is just how much the men, women and families who take time to make the show mean to the performers,

"This is about so much more than a show, it's about YOU," Britt Nicole says. "And, we are so excited to meet you and we are so excited to see your life forever changed."

Britt Nicole knows how important it is to take pictures and make memories after the show:BN.PHT.2017

Air1's social media producer, Eddie Villanueva, remembers seeing Britt Nicole spending time with families and fans at the Indianapolis, Indiana show...

"All the artists were super personable and they were really having a great time interacting with the audience. After her Q & A, Britt Nicole took time to go down and talk to the people who came to the concert, giving hugs and taking pictures," Eddie recalls . "Even when the lights were down and the concert was over she was still meeting with families and praying with them, spending time with people who really wanted to meet her."

Thrilling the crowd, Britt Nicole sings "Through Your Eyes":

The Air1 Positive Hits Tour continues into November and includes performances by Skillet, Britt Nicole, Colton Dixon, Tauren Wells and Gawvi and Guest Speaker / Author Mark Lee from THIRD DAY.

Matthew West's New Song "Broken Things" Takes Him to A Place of Worship

    Thursday, September 14, 2017

Usually confident in his ability to remain composed during song performances, Matthew admits that he reacts differently when singing "Broken Things" a new song from his album All In (September 22, 2017):

"I kind of had a hard time even getting through the writing and recording process without, kind of, being brought to tears," Matthew reflects, "there's something about these lyrics ... that brought me to a real place of worship, every time. Even when I hear it now, the chorus says:

“I'm just a beggar in the presence of a King
I wish I could bring so much more
But if it's true that You use broken things
Then here I am Lord, I'm all Yours.”

Openly honest about his own personal struggles over the years, Matthew says he's in awe over how God still uses him a 'broken thing'...

“There's a whole lot of times in my life where I feel disqualified. As if I've messed up too many times and, if grace is a kingdom, I'm just gonna hang outside the gates. But, time and time again, day after day, morning after morning, God invites me inside those gates and says, 'Come on. I'm going to use you in a powerful way.' Our God's in the business of using broken people and broken things.”
